Could "alcohol treatments" for a neuroma cause plantar faciitis?

Question: Could "alcohol treatments" for a neuroma cause plantar faciitis?

About a year ago I had 8 "alcohol" injections between my toes to fix a neuroma (destroy the nerve ending). Less than a year later I got a terrible case of plantar faciitis in the same foot. I have been suffering with plantar faciitis for almost a year. Could the "alcohol" treatments caused the faciia to get more rigid?
