Cycling crash 2 weeks before a 4 day race

 

Question: Cycling crash 2 weeks before a 4 day race

Last night I crashed my mountain bike resulting in a large swelling and bruising on my outer thigh, the skin is also broken. The muscle has obviously been damaged to some degree. Given that I have been training for a 4 day race in two weeks time, I would like to know if rest or continuing exercise is going to be more beneficial to the healing process.
