hip/Buttock Pain

Question: hip/Buttock Pain

Hi

I have had upper buttock/hip pain for almost 6 months...It is on my left side and is constant everyday and quite debilitating. Ive had mri's on my left hip and lower back and nothing has shown up..I also had 3 trigger point injections in the area and it did nothing.

It started after a chiropractor put me on my right side with my left leg at a 90 degree angle on my right leg. He adjusted and i thought it was pretty rough but I did not feel pain until later that night.

My pain doctor is recommending a facet joint injection but I feel like this sounds a lot like piriformis syndrome. I feel like it is one of those but I dont know anymore.

Does anyone have any advice for me?
