I had a blow to my shin in a rugby game 2 months ago, and I think I might have nerve damage???

Question: I had a blow to my shin in a rugby game 2 months ago, and I think I might have nerve damage???

My shin swelled up right after the blow, and was very tender to the touch. The swelling went down, but now there is a little ball on my shin that if you touch sends tingling sideways into my calf. Also, right below that little ball is discloration, like a bruise, but very faint. If i touch that discoloration (which is also indented), it is VERY painful. Do I need to worry about this? A similar thing happened to my other shin in January, but that little ball wasn't there. It was very painful when hit, but went away by March. It's now been two months for this shin, and is just as painful as when it happened. The pain lasts for 10-20 seconds, then i'm fine. It doesn't hurt at all to run however. Do I just need to wait it out or go see a doctor?
