I was dancing and my partner pulled my arm up when I was on the ground and I wasn't ready to come up yet.
The MRI states-The rotator cuff tendons are intact. The biceps s tendon is intact. There is no glemohumeral joint effusion. The glenoid labrum is grossly intact. The acromioclavicular joint is within normal limits. There is a type 1-2 anterior acromion. There are a few small cysts within the superolateral humeral head. There appears to be mild bone marrow edema within the distal clavicle which is nonspecific. The remainder of the bone narrow signal is within normal limits. The musculature is of normal signal intensity.
Basically, my shoulder is deformed- I can see a bone raised up near the end of my shoulder. Actually my left shoulder is higher up now and I can pull it down(normal) but, it won't stay down(normal). So, now even my arm is shorter because the shoulder is pulled up. It used to be so painful and now it healed wrong. I have tried physical therapy and a chiropractor.
Because I'm not in pain anymore, the orthopedic surgeons aren't interested in putting my shoulder back. I'm about ready to throw myself down some stairs or something. Can you tell me if you know an Orthopedic surgeon that will help put it back into place.? Or if you can better describe this as a tear, a sprain, a dislocation? nice that the x ray doesn't state that. I heard it was a separation? is that a dislocation? Help? Thanks for your time!!!!!
