Hi,
I am approaching the expert for an advise on my case.
2 wks back i had a fall from my horse during show jumping and i landed on my knee, i visited a orthopaedic surgeon wherein the prelim x ray investigation revealed partial fracture of head of fibula, the dr advised me pain killers and gave me a knee brace for support.
after a week when there was no relief in pain and swelling i again visited a different orthopaedic surgeon who advised MRI to me, the MRI findings were as follows:-
(a)Fracture anterolateral femoral and tibial condyl with adjacent marrow edema
(b) Moderate Hemarthorsisi/joint effusion
(c) Oblique tear of Medial Meniscus
(d) Grade 2 injury MCL
please advise what should be the plan of action, whether it is advisable to go in for arthroscopy and repair or stick to non surgical managment.
Regards
Sunil
