Question:
Quad tendon graft ACL reconstruction
hi,
i am soon to have a quad tendon graft for my ACL revision (my second) and have some questionas about this choice of graft, which my surgeon suggested,as both hamstrings have already been harvested
i want to know
1. how painful is this graft??
2. is it hard to rebuild quad strength afterwards?
3. are there any lasting sideeffects of this graft?
4. on the interne i have found several sources that call the scar 'unsightly' or 'gruesome' how is this so? not that i suppose it matters, but would like to know!
