Question:
realistic rehab expectation for fractured tibia, patella w/reattachment of patellar tendon
58 yr old skier hit tree with patella, shattering lower 15% of patella and sustaining multiple closed fractures of tibial plateau. surgery necessary to reattach patellar tendon and install plate and screws to facilitate healing of tibia. any PT's have experience with this sort of injury? am experiencing some coping problems after 3+ months on crutches. PT going well, but seems slow.
