I played rugby yesterday, and I picked the ball and ran with it, and somebody hit me pretty hard. My right upper quadriceps was smashed up against someone's knee. I had to limp off the field. I could hardly walk, and a day later I can still hardly walk. This is obviously a muscle injury. My leg was all red the day before, but today I can't even see a bruise on it, though it is swollen. What is the fastest way to get my leg back to normal?

Hi there
It looks like the fascia (the fleece surrounding the muscles)has been stripped or rolled up from the muscle. I would recommend a visit to an orthopedic surgeon.
