Answer:

Hi there

I am an Australian Kinesiologist/sports therapist

The muscle involved in the movements you described is the Pectoralis major clavicular. This muscle runs from middle to end of the collarbones at the base of the throat to a groove between the muscles at the front of the upper arm, just below the shoulder. When this muscle malfunctions it pulls the arm forward and rotates it inward.
It is often responsible for dislocating the shoulder.
The nerve that controls that muscle exits the spine it T5-6 level and it is there that you have a misalignment.

I would suggest seeing a competent chiropractor who is versed in Aplied Kinesiology (AK) and have that section realigned. This is not a big deal and should not take more than 1 treatment. If left untreated it will affect the subacromial bursa and wear the articular capsule, leading to bursitis and arthritis.

Good luck
